Ask how long they've been in business and what type of cars they usually do. Take a tour of their place and see what kind of cars are in their shop. Take a look at what they do. Interior is usually done only once in a car, so you need to get the job done right the first time. Picking your upholsterer is a big deal. I use Jack's in Santa Maria and have been working with him for over 30 years. Excellent craftsmanship and this guy is an expert! In the video is his wife who does the stitching. She's amazing as well and can do tricky high-end custom stiches. When we did this video, Jack's in the other room working on our 67 Chevelle.
