Sampling two recordings of Rodgers and Hammerstein's "If I Loved You". The Jerry Jackson version from 1966 and the P.J. Proby version from 1972. They were on the same record label.

  • @manjadolan Maybe Europeans don't 'stoop to name calling' but some of you sure do stoop to bootlegging. Your real? name is all over PJ Proby's website connecting you with the unlicensed merchandise he sells. Looks like you're his merchandiser. I see he goes to court for fraud next month. Were you part of that operation as well or are you just stupid?

  • @manjadolan So Proby's got his promoters telling youtube members they're gutless if they don't reveal their real name. I bet he'd like you to get everyone's contact info too so you can harass them into buying his merchandise. Best of luck to you on doing that.

Oh by the way, why did everything get so quiet about copyrights after someone mentioned Proby's selling copies of Elvis tracks?

  • @manjadolan There's another PJ Proby promoter posting comments here going by the name BearGrove. Is that his real name? How about the guys named jimproby and jimmyproby with all those Proby uploads? Is PJ Proby uploading his own clips or do you call those guys spammers too? Maybe everybody in Proby's family's named Jim?

Only people who are advertising something or don't mind being bombarded with spam mail use their real name on youtube.

  • @manjadolan It's no secret that you promote PJ Proby? I guess your friends know who you are but I've never heard of you. You don't say you're a promoter anywhere on your channel and you didn't announce it in your comments till somebody mentioned it. Maybe "in Europe" promoters post their opinions about an artist they promote without explaining who they are but everywhere else in the world it's looked on as SPAM.

  • Proby's track sounds like Jackson's because Ember was low budget? Why was he doing low budget recordings at a time he claims he ran with Sinatra's ratpack? Just more of his usual BS.

So he did a big bunch of demos for Elvis and Elvis learned from him? Elvis changed the music world with one guy backing him on guitar and another on bass, and Proby couldn't break into the top 100 when he had a 26-piece orchestra. Some idiots believe Proby hung out in Houston bars when he was 15 too.

  • PJ Proby's promoters must think doing demos for Elvis is really important because he can't go near a microphone without talking about it. I've never heard any singer talk so much about demo singing. Of course he didn't demo any of the Elvis hits, just some crap movie songs. Impressive, huh? Actually it's pretty weird.

  • @bowzerateit Guess the correct English should be "take part in".So you misunderstood me completely just because I wrote "of" instead of "in" ?

The most important is that P.J. did demos for Elvis. I repeat it again for you :

Parts of a film can be done as a complement after the mainly takings are done. It´s even just a matter of remark on a word.which Proby said in my interview with him.

Your recently approved comment is for me just a matter of your "facts" and without any interest at all.

  • @BearGrove You said I took a part of your videoclip. If you have a problem with English I can accept that, but don't argue with me about your words because they are there in black and white. You also suggested that I substitute the word that PJ Proby used in the video (while) with the word "before" to better understand what he meant. PJ Proby is an American and if he doesn't understand the difference between while and before he's in big trouble.

  • @manjadolan Where did I say I prefer one version over the other? Where did I say I was a Jerry Jackson fan? You and BearGrove are the commenters here who are trying to turn this into a contest about the best version, not me. If pointing out that you are a PJ Proby promoter is getting "personal" that's too bad. I guess you were trying to keep it a secret so you could post your comments about PJ Proby as if you are just a fan instead of somebody who advertises his merchandise.

  • @bowzerateit You read my comments as the devil reads the bible !

You had a remark to what Proby said in my videoclip so I assume you had taken part of it.....

You must have had a bad dream and mix it with reality.Nothing in my comment to you concerning "P.J. ABOUT ELVIS" can be read as I am accusing you or anybody for stealing my video. You have just made a fool of yourself. Hope other people will take part of that comment so they can notice your ridiculous interpretation of my comment.
