  • Yes if you see my other vids you can see a list of whats done to the motor , it worked out at 7.6 ; 1.

  • What super charger do you run and did you buy a kit or make it yourself?

  • The kit is basically the CRS one using the SC14 Aisin off the Toyota supra. I was going to make up the mounts myself however was lucky enough to find someone selling them so saved me a heap of time and trouble. The kit from CRS is now overpriced and does not even include the supercharger anymore, others now on Ebay.

  • hey mate nice lokking car... how dose the pro-comp ignition go??? i was thinkg of putting one in my car

    cheers

  • To date I haven't had a problem with it, tis a little noisy though. Putting the HEI dissy on a red motor is a big boost, adding the MSD is only slightly better if anything. Take the trouble to get your dissy graphed you wont look back.

  • Where are you running your PCV to? I was thinking of plugging mine into the Holley inlet before the blower!

    Thanks

    Scott

  • Scott I dont run a PCV. if you have a look the breather comes out of the rocker cover via the catch can and then out underneath the car, just like the old "walking stick". I had such a problem with the oil passing past the PCV into the motor after fitting roller rockers [pre supercharger] I just we back to the old fashion way.. works fine.

  • did you have to lower the compression at all?

  • thats pristine mate

  • Talkwrench,

I have a few questions on BOV's and pulleys. I saw on Oldholden you said you are running a BOV. I have a BOV here, but it has me stuffed how to fit it. Any tips?

I am also looking into running the blower with the clutched pulley. I have pictures of it in my shed on OH. I may never use the clutch but figure the 7 rib pulley will be better than the V belt. Have you found a new drive belt set up yet?

    Thanks mate
