Sunbeam Tiger MK 1A, 1966

Dyno Pull at Fast Specialties, Vancouver, WA. 289 HiPo (from a 65 Mustang) 2.5 Exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers and Dr.Gas X pipe/Crossover (installed by Boyd Butler). Very old long tube Tiger Headers not sure what make. Close to stock HiPo solid cam from Sig Erason, dual plane Shelby/Cobra intake with a 600 Holley breathing through Extreme K&N filter. Made 271 RWHP on a Mustang Dyno. (3:31 gears and stock close ratio top loader in four at about 6,500rpm) Best 1/4 Mile @ PIR, Portland OR 13:4 @ 103 mph

The Tiger is a hout to drive and has cook the rice a few times!! Their is nothing like a high winding 289 with solid lifters and as you can see I love the new stuff too.
