How To Clean Your Rug For $4

Here's a step by step guide for an idea I had.

I had two rugs that needed cleaning. The first was a larger rug and I did it entirely by hand. As I was scrubbing, wondering why I couldn't employ any of the neighborhood kids to help me, I had an idea on how I could save myself a lot of time and trouble.

Forget tossing out the rug. God forbid you would bring out a pro. Forget the hand and knees scrubbing. Forget renting a carpet shampooer. Take the easy way out, it even gets better results.

Take your rug to the car wash! Take your car mats out while you're there too!
