ubuntu edgy+aiglx+compiz on compaq nx 9030

this laptop have video 32mb shared with RAM (512mb), gpu is intel i810 chipset.

just imagine what you can do with a linux desktop on a decent computer :))
and if you have no imagination, just browse youtube for compiz\beryl :))

I have this laptop - really the top.

I installed in my hp ubuntu,windows xp and OSX tiger, only OSX didn't start with 222 mb ram

Try to change color depth from 24 to 16 - it helped me, and it's working perfectly now! (60% faster - tested with glxgesrs) :)
