I am completely against any individual or group in government that wants to take away our constitutional rights , however I dont see how mandatory military service, for young men between the ages of 18 and 25 would do that.

It will actually contribute to our freedoms , by having a citizenry that has military experience ...God forbid , if we ever had to fight a domestic enemy / tyranical government , most men would be able to fall back on their military training .
