The late USMC LCpl Rich Perez Jr was killed in Iraq accidently by another Marine who was moving Perez's truck on 5-10 feet. The Marine hit the gas instead of the Brake, not seeing Perez was between the two trucks doing something still. Perez Jr is the son of Sportscaster/Prognosticator in las Vegas, NV Rich Perez.

Beautiful memorial video for your son. I saw you today, in the crowd, at the Red Rock Memorial. I was with the Patriot Guard. We met several years ago when you were purchasing a house. You wouldn't remember me from Adam, but I remember you. You touched my life with your story. Today was awe inspiring. May Rich RIP knowing he is not forgotten.

man i still remember the day i found out rich died...
renee charlie alez everyone was hella calling me. then i read the paper.
i just remember his smile most of all..and his ability to make the crew laugh.

I went to Coronado Highschool with him. I don't really recall talking to him but I remember seeing him in uniform talking to Mr. Racek (who was a history teacher from our school who was previously a marine who fought in vietnam). He carried himself with a lot of pride. Figured I'd stop by and pay tribute to him on this veteran's day.

He was a Reservist with the 6th Motor T Bn. attatched to the 4th FSSG.

RIP my up most respect to this marine while some sit at home other fight for our freedom. You wont know what this feels like until you have a Marine in your family... My brother is a Marine and i keep him and all Marines in prayer every day. RIP God bless
