"Helping-Hand Hangers" were developed for the taxidermist by a taxidermist. Working alone, as many taxidermist do, I often found myself in need of an extra pair of hands to assist me securing mounts to the stand for finish work. I came up with this simple, but very effective solution. The hanger has a lip on it that catches the stand head freeing up your hands to put in the screws to hold the mount in place. These hangers are vey versatile and can be used on just about anything you need a hanger for, up to medium sized game heads. They can also be used for large heads and wall pedestal mounts when used with wall brackets. For larger heads and wall pedestals, you need to slightly modify your stand head by welding a tab on it, which you can make yourself or order from us.

  • Why would anyone want to have a dead animal hanging on their wall?

Seems kind of creepy to me.
