  • WAR is a racket. It always has been.

It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives.

  • I respect your service as a fellow soldier. But I would point out that sometimes speaking out against current events is not speaking out against the country, but speaking FOR the country.

  • The sad this about this is, it is like some thing that we have all heard during the vietnam war. Its like something like this will eventually happen again in another war.

  • @dardingz

Tin foil hat story? Mebbe. Police around the world have always had interchanges in regards training. I expect Russia is a little more 'free' these days than the US - where visitors and US citizens are fondled by TSA by pumped-up 'dumb' types. (With employed exceptions). America you are under attack, from well within, its been going on for decades.

Knocking off that fuckwit Saddam WAS a good thing. The rest you leave to the Iraqi's. Ditto Afghanistan. Compared to WW2 these are 'soft' wars and you each know full well America, and the west, are capable of a much more if that need ever arise. I respect all serving troops, and those here that highlight serious US societal issues.

  • @MQMCANSUCKDICK

    Troll.

  • Americans are asleep and don't give a damn about the veterans and certainly don't want to hear the truth about the American "wars". I talk to people until I'm blue in the face about this corrupt government and all I get are blank stares. WTF is wrong with people. My dad was at Pearl Harbor on December 7 and the war did not end for him until he died at the age of 79. No one knows what these vets have to endure to secure them gasoline for their fuckin' Escalades and Ford F250s!

  • You Americans think that by making these groups, you think will make the iraqi people forgive USA, your wrong we will invade Usa and fuck yous up, and then we will be even

  • I support this!

  • As an original gulf war vet I have all the respect in the world for any branch of the service, especially the Marines. However, there were no WMD's in Iraq. Making Iraq the largest crime scene in our military history. We attacked another country without just cause sacrificing young men and women. Now Afghanistan is the longest declared military conflict in the 235 year history of America. So I respectfully ask....what in the name of God are we really doing and is it honorable anymore?
