  • well thanks! This is the actual dancer-girl who model for Snow White, her name is Marjory Champion. I just wanted to add that every single movement you see in the movie it`s hers! SHE IS Snow White. Now she-s 90. still the same lovely smile.

  • Some animators call it cheating. If it looks good though.. why not??

  • yes you're right. it is like cheating:)but it is also an old tecnique all made by hand

  • thank you very much:) This is just because I've been very careful in drawing each frame the most faithful to the real footage live action frame:D

  • Thanks to all...u r very kind...ehm..WHo is the Red Fairy?:)

  • This is actually a demo, and it will be esamined with other rotoscope I made to be accepted into an animation school, in my country. I hope they will like it the way u did:D

  • Those Animators don't know what they're talking about. You can't caricature an action without a reference. That rotoscope looks impressive.

  • pure disney

  • To me Snow White resembled Jane Wyatt, Mrs. Anderson from "Father Knows Best."

  • @Twigs47 it doesnt look good, even the original snow white didnt. the movie is amazing, but the rotoscoped parts arent good.

  • And great dancing, Marge!

  • Beautifully done!

  • @kyuugoki I wouldn't say it looks horrible, but everything else you said is absolutely spot on.

  • Video reference is not cheating, but you should try using it as an aid rather than completely rotoscoping.

  • This is absolutely horrible. It lacks weight - it floats. Reference serves as a jump off point. Watch it, understand the underlying forces, then push them further. Animation is the illusion of life, not movement. Animation is MORE than life. Even if you were to merely trace the keys off live animation, all internal drive of the character is lost. It sounds trollish, but this is truly worthless. You can't tell me you learned even the slightest about the driving forces by doing this.
