Penn State Riot Tipping Over WTAJ News Van Up Close 11/9/2011

This is the most disturbing point of the riot, when students start throwing rocks and other debris at the WTAJ news van, breaking windows. A few then decided to start tipping and the rest you can see. There are no words for this. This is an embarrassment to my University and in no way is helping the cause. I do not condone these actions and was in complete shock during. Unfortunately, there were too many people in favor of the van tipping and only a few who tried to stop it. 'May no act of ours bring shame?' Ouch, Penn State.

What an unfortunate chain of events that caused this. It may look like these kids are rioting "in favor" of child abuse (which doesn't even make sense) but it was because of the inability to comprehend the entire situation. The board essentially fired the face of the University, a legend, and role model to college football coaches everywhere. It was 10 o'clock at night and yes, people were drunk. It's college. This could have been avoided, along with the abuse of more kids after 1998.

it's so upsetting to read these comments, people pointing fingers over things irrevelent to the real problems. kids were raped and abused, and being a penn state fan, we still our mourning for the victims. don't stereotype every kid thats gone to psu. move foward, convict sandusky, and ensure this won't happen again. joepa could've done more, as well as many others, so move along and just get sandusky locked up and bring peace to the victims.

1.) There was a candlelight vigil on November 11th. Over 10,000 people gathered on Old Main lawn to remember the victims of child abuse.

2.) Penn State students and alumni have donated $511,508 to RAINN, a fund to raise child abuse awareness.
