Don't ask me who I am.
Or if you had ever known me.
The dreams I'd had will grow even if I am gone.
I no longer live, but I go on in the things I had been dreaming.
Others that keep on fighting will make other roses grow.
And in the name of all those things they will all be naming me.

Don't remind me of the face
that was my face of war
while there was in my land a need for me to hate.
and in the sky that now clears up
you will know what my mind was like.
Few people heard me laugh
but my unheard laughter, they will find it in the dawn of the new day that we feel coming.

Don't ask me my age,
I have the years of everyone.
I choose among many paths to be older than my age.
And my real years are the bullets that I've fired.
I am born in each execution, and even if my body dies
I will have the real age of the child I've liberated.

My tomb you should not look for,
because you will never find it.
My hands go on shooting through other hands.
My voice if the voice that is screaming.
My dream is the dream that remains intact.
And you should know that I only die if you start to give up.
Because the one who died fighting lives in each living fighter.
Because the one who died fighting lives in each living fighter.
