Can I ask you, since my Epiphone Thunderbird bass is brand new, out of the box, is it already tuned when it was manufactured? and can I easily buy tuning forks from any music shop?

@Electrosphere75 Ordinarily, such instruments are not tuned to prevent breaking during transport when these are shipped. And please ask to the music shop where you purchased about tuning forks! I'm living Japan and so I'm not sure about the circumstance of music shops in your country (^-^;
