  • It was a nice aircraft but had a lousy glide rate which meant more fuel use.

    This airplane used to be N311EA and was converted to a freighter in 1987.

  • I never thought the #2 engine was so large the an adult could walk upright with ease all the way to the engine. Wow. BFE.

  • Loved flying as a passenger on the L1011
