@1ownjoo2, Good to hear a non-Vanagon/Syncro owner can respect another’s. Jeeps are the original off-road beasts from WWII. I'm not sure if this could be pulled off as well with a Jeep, just due to where the engine is and the lack of buoyant cabin space, which is how Syncros can pull this off so well. Weight displacement has been perfectly balanced and distributed by VW specifically in Syncros and Vanagons. The doesn't weigh that much, which allows the Syncro to float. My wife has a Liberty.

It is pretty damn impressive, but my Jeep could do that if it had a snorkel. I dont know about any other vans tho lol

all 14 inh syncro's with bad weather package, and all 16 inch syncro's come with build in snorkels. They go all the way up to the air intake grilles at the back of the car, just under the roof
