The United States Military Academy at West Point celebrates the soldiers who have given their lives to defend this country. On May 1st, 2011 US Special Forces killed Osama Bin Laden. This is a significant moment in American history, its origins going back to September 11th 2001 with the attack on the World Trade Center in New York City and beyond.

I'm only 16 years old and I still remember watching the towers fall, my family crying and the nation mourning. He killed thousands of not only Americans, but Muslims as well. So him killing thousands isn't a big deal? Talk to families who lost people during 9/11 and tell them that it "wasn't that bad" you filthy piece of shit.

I disagree that it's disrespectful to celebrate the death of such a terrible man. I'm usually pretty pacifist, but for Christ's sake this was justice for a mass murderer. He is an evil man, and it's good that he's gone. People just as eagerly celebrated the death of Hitler, should Americans have respected him too?
