Actually the BEST version is Bob Dylan's own....but the song's so good I've found about 20 honourable 'covers' on Youtube in the last 10 minutes!!!! From Garth Brooks' mammoth hit version in the 90s to Adele's recent acceptable foray. God! Dylan must be coining it from the publishing from this song!!!!

Maybe he could do better. But someone saying he doesn't like Ferry in general has no knowledge about music. Brian Ferry has already proved he can sing and was very influential on Rockmusic. If you really into music you have to listen to his work and Roxy Music.
They were forrunners in various styles (even predated ambient music, listen to the bogusman on ' for your pleasure'). If you cant see that...how can you even begin to say that he did't mean an Iota to you?
