The innovative Hawx 120 is a unique performance boot which promotes natural forefoot flexibility and therefore improves balance and ski control.
The i-Flex zone of the Hawx 120 works like an additional joint: it provides the forefoot and toes with firm support and can flex downward slightly in turns, thereby maintaining the natural position of the toes at all times. This makes the skier even more sensitive to feedback from the ski, allowing the ski to be controlled with even less effort. The ultra-hard Flex 120 and ASY Elite liner transfer every ounce of power directly to the ski. Four lightweight Edge 7000 buckles and an extra-wide strap provide superb support. The Hawx 120 is ideal for high-performance-driven skiers who like to combine perfect power transmission with optimum control in all situations.
Both boots will ski very well on and off piste, the Hawx is a little wider in the forefoot and slightly more upright than the Burner, both boots are very comfortable BUT the Burner will be a closer fit due to its 98mm last.
It would be best to try both boots on in your local shop.
