is there some kind of special name for the backing/ fabric you a using?

@onews Hi, the material I'm embroidering on is called lacy's stiff stuff (white) and the backing is ultra suede (black).

I also want to say I learned to do a backstitch with 6, then go back and go through

three. Now I realize that two would make it much tighter. A lightbulb went off / thanks so much.

Ok I think I can figure out my own colors. I'm only making a pendant. I want to try a cuff soon.

Hello, very beautiful. I have been hanging on to a red cabochon for a special Lady whom every cab I bead around she wants. I saw your's and thought perfect colors. What color is that ...looks kind of like a root-beer on my computer. Thanks again. Whoops now that I look again I can see a dark red as well.
