The trial of eight men accused of planning to bomb transatlantic airliners with home-made liquid explosives has heard that some of the men recorded "martyrdom videos". The videos were allegedly found at the home of one of the defendants, Assad Sarwar. All eight men deny conspiracy to murder and conspiracy to endanger the safety of aircraft.

In what the prosecution say is Mr Ali's martyrdom video, the jury heard a man said to be the defendant say he was the leader of the alleged group - and someone who had aspired martyrdom since the age of 15 or 16.
