  • This video is really well done. I'm gonna tell my friends so they can enjoy it too. Great job. Especially conveying the lonely melancholy of video game high score pursuits and GAME OVER screens.

  • Loved it. Almost brought me to tears. RIP CTF

  • I really wish there was some way to acknowledge how great this film is. As I doubt there is, I'll just leave this comment.

  • I'll be honest. This hurt. Watching this documentary glorified every victory I have ever had. It, sadly, also made me realize the invisible cloak of pride I wear around myself exists only in my mind.

  • reminds me of the jungles of NAM... WAR IS HELL

  • Second life footage. Nice.

  • This is one of the most amazing things I've ever seen. Seriously. I love it.

  • what is the name of the Tetris master mentioned at 4:35 (ish) ...?

  • Wow, this is lovely.

  • What the fuck is this...I don't even...

  • Topics like this could make a killer movie if Hollywood had any balls. A somber take on videogaming. Genius. I do think there's a bit of a weird thrill and emptiness upon crazy gaming conquests as well. Until the next game.

  • I didn't get to live during the "Age of Arcades", but I did experience them in the end, I got to live through alot of the stuff mentioned in this video and being a late 80s kid(1987) I'm glad I got to experience that early in the 90s because that's when Arcades started to decline exponentially...

Nobody has arcades anymore... I used to love going to the raggedy old movie theater or the local pizza shop to play Street Fighter or Samurai Showdown while we waited for the movie or our food...
