The Pendolino - Virgin Lady - is stopped at the signals but the 175 - hippo - goes flying past !

was it because the pendo was diverted even though it had a bigger service the trains that normally go there have to be on time

There were problems North of Winwick, where I was, so yes the Pendo was diverted and had to be stopped to tell the driver what was happening, the hippo blasted past in the meantime !
