I've also personally talked with many drug addicts and people who claim to have been involved in Wicca ("Witchcraft") and many *do* want to hear the hope of Christ in a world where they've screwed up and can't look back.

People may dismiss Christianity as old-fashioned, irrelevant, the bible being full of errors/contradictory (all of which can be argued against) but regeneration of one's heart, as Jesus described is irrefutable - the Old Testament awaits for it, and the New Testament displays/confirms it.
