Enable 720p HD video recording for iPhone 3GS

This is a brief tutorial showing how to enable 720p HD video recording on your jailbroken iPhone 3GS. At the time of the video, I am running iOS 4.1 jailbroken using limera1n.

My download didnt come with a n88AP.plist file?

@aaasshhaaww In the new release of the HDVideo3GS-rev3, there is no N88AP.plist file, and that is fine. According to the readme.txt file that comes with it, "N88AP.plist is not needed for this tweak to work". So, you should be fine if you just "Jailbreak your device and install SSH. Copy the 3 .plist files to /System/Library/PrivateFramewo­rks/Celestial.framework/N88/ (Backup your original files!). Reboot your iPhone 3GS"

You dont need to do all this. Just download and install the hack in Cydia from ihacksrepo. Done and Done :-)

@srujanmishra7 its definately not the same thing! hd enabler maybe enabled hd recording, but DID NOT enable 30 fps recording(tho im not eaven shure 4 hd,cause i didn check when i saw its so slo)under lo light conditions, which is always btw

@mayyama Yes, technically, you should be able to follow the same steps as in the video. Besides, now there is a much simpler way to enable HD video recording on your 3GS- just search and download "HD Video Enabler for 3GS" in Cydia (provided your 3GS is jailbroken). Good luck!

Can you please send me the unedited files because i do this & found that it comes on black & white mode so i'm unable to capture colored images however the dimension are right when i make videos it comes in 1080*800 res....please help...:(

Can the HD videos be imported and edited in Reeldirector app ver 3.2 ?
