  • @jjgjjjgjjjgjjgjjg But they're happy with that, they could use the song themself but they choose not to, because sometimes they're better songwriters than singers...

  • so was she the 1 originally wrote the song?? or is this like a cover because this was released in 2010 and the video was uploaded jan 3 2011??

  • @reaper69316 Exactly. Sometimes they write with a specific artist in mind, and if that person doesn't want it, the song is shopped around to other artists who might be right for the song. "Umbrella" was written by The Dream for Britney Spears, but she didn't choose it. Then Mary J and Rihanna both liked it, and bid for it and Rihanna won. Bingo: #1 hit!

  • I like this :3

  • @kadeemstanle i meant like from the general public.. like look at how many views this has compared to Rihanna's verison... lol.

  • @jjgjjjgjjjgjjgjjg song writers and producer get recognition from grammys bruh and we get paid more then the artist like the producer gets 40-50% of the royalties and songwriters get about 20-20% of the royalties

  • @reaper69316 Yes, thats what song writers do they hook up with producers and submit tracks to the artist

  • i wish the writers would get more recognition. like ik they get credited. but still.

  • @ImtheJb I totally agree with you, but I just wish that she would get more credit, she really deserves it! :)

  • @RhythmAddictedState staying behind the scenes means lots of money, no fame/paparazzi. She can still live an anonymous life, and be rich.
