  • and some GOOD tyres!

  • prado is the best

  • Hey guys..i'm a proud owner of 2008 Toyota Prado VX....and yes!! It rules (",) by the way it's petrol and Petrol here in the middles east only costs less than a USD a gallon...hehe

  • Yeah, the new diesel is a massive improvement over the last. I'm sure you'll be very happy with it. Friends of ours had the new diesel for a few months - i think they said it would about 1900kms. Mostly highway driving though.

  • Yep, I got the new d-4d diesel, which should has a claimed a fuel consumptions of 9.2L/100Km...

  • I hope you got the diesel version mate. You won't get anywhere near that consuption with ULP. Wanna buy a 2003 Prado Grande (Petrol)? ;)

  • anyway, here in denmark the landcruisers only have a model no., like BJ42, HJ61, LJ70, GX90, HZJ125 and so forth. no names like prado, machito or the like.

  • Hmmm thats a strange naming convention... Because the GX90 refers to LC90 (LC = landcruiser)aka "90 series" which is the second generation prado (which stoped production in 2003). The current model landcruiser, and then landcruiser shown in the video here is the 120 series AKA LC120, 3rd generation Prado.

Also The 200 series replaces the 100 series here in Australia about 2 months ago, if you want more info on it, google"200 series landcruiser".

  • Fair Enough Mate, I agree with you it is not the ultimate rock crawler. And Embracingly s*it loads of Soccer Mums Do Drive them.

I considered Jeep Rubicon, and LC76, but decided to go for the Tourer option this time with it's 9.2L/100km fuel consumption and 180L combined tanks it should give me nearly 2000km range..

Once i get it delivered next month, I'll fit it up with all the ARB fruit!!
