Why did Hillary Clinton attend the State of the Black Union

How long has this tape been out about jeremiah wright - he's an idiot. But why did Hillary Clinton attend an openly hate filled conference - the State of the Black Union Conference. The same conference Barack Obama didn't attend. The tape about jeremiah wright has been out since Christmas and now it rears it ugly head, interesting timing. How can any of us be held responsible for every comment made by others we can't verbally control or everyone we have met in our lives. The key is you can't find a Youtube of Barack saying those things. How can anyone with intelligence associate a former minister who is not directly associated with a campaign, with a member of a church who was not present during a taping - GET REAL.

The State of the Black Unionwas and is not at all about racism or hate. It is about black people coming together to reform our community, acknowledge the strides that we are making as a people, and tackle the issues that plague is, both from within and without. Try watching C=SPAN sometime, and you'd know thta, or just look it up on YouTube. If anything, Hilary was showing support for a very constructive meeting of great minds trying to make a difference. Please don't make ignorant calls.

He was present during the riding dirty sermon, the vids on youtube. I'll try to find it for you. I think the point was judgement and that the first sermon Barack heard from Wright (from his book), had a lot of the same things... hence, how could he say he didn't know or Wright changed. Common sense, no matter how infrequent, 20 years and not knowing... and the newsletters on top of it? Anyway, black folks don't throw pastors under the bus and continue to go to the church, period... not done.
