@robstuhr1 Respectfully your son-in-law is mistaken. These clubs built enormous rockets like you wouldn't even believe. The problem is they have to get FAA clearance to launch them because they fly well into the fight paths of airliners.

Where is the missile wreckage? When Saddam was launching scuds at Israel they always left recognizable parts and pieces, so did they find a "Chinese missile"?

@thewordofgod2010 My son-in-law, who is a PHD in aeronautical engineering and one who has launched rockets in Colorado, says no missiles of this size are launched by "rocket clubs".

Maybe Chinese but I'm highly skeptical. This was more likely an illegal large model rocket launch. Believe it or not rocketry clubs commonly make and launch rockets this large. They are supposed to get FAA approval before launch.

We all seen it. If it was a plane, then name the exact flight. All aircraft that are large enough to leave a contrail close to this size, all have multiple engines. This was a single sourced exhaust plume.
