I first found this song from my favorite movie...
then I fell in love with it because I realized that it was about me and how I was raised; I am an American girl.

@megagerdts well your sister is kinda right...hear me out tho...obviously this was made before blink...the opening riff is similar to blinks core...same guitar line over and over with bass and a drum beat...both bands are talented in different and in different ways, i love tom petty and love blink. Two DIFFERENT bands of course but the riff shares blink characteristics. Tom Petty has his own sound, which no one can compare to overall and same with blink...i think what i said is fair.
