The first song rocks so hard it knocks teeth out. It's like this is the last time for everything, the end of the X series (unfortunately), the last time the robo trinity would be together (X Zero and Axel) the last time Sigma would plague the heroes and the world, the end of the era where you could blame the Zero Maverick virus on Reploids causing havoc. Now Reploids go Maverick on purpose with out big bad sigma to blame-true Reploid free will.The song ushers in the age of Mega Man Zero Series.

This can't be the end. Not after that "Lumine has infected Axl with himself" stuff, there's gotta be at least one more. Y'know, like with the classic series. 9 wrapped that up and 9 SHOULD wrap this up.

Zero didnt infect Sigma either. Zero's capsule infected both of them.

Gate only repaired Sigma AFTER he had been infected by Zero's DNA. He wanted to use Sigma, but unfortunately, that just doesnt work.

Command mission was NEVER confirmed not canon. it is quite canon.

@FlameG102 You get whiote Axl through hardest most, not the ending.

I wasn't sayign Zero infected by Sigma, the other way around. Doppler made an antivirus to defeat the maverick threat, and in turn turned maverick himself (by Sigma). Gate repaired and had Sigma following his orders with what he found in the ground, but in turn was infected with Zero Virus, made by Sigma for that chip form in X5, and lastly Command Mission confirmed non-canon, not a part of the X story line.

-Apparently wasnt too bad at all, and never affected his future. If anything, its possible that another indcident like X6 happens, where he is used to create a virus or revive Lumine.

That wasnt the "hardest difficulty" that was just Axl's ending. You get it by playing in normal OR hard mode.

It was very likely a way to justify white Axl.

Zero was never infected by Sigma, Doppler never "defeated Sigma" and got infected, he was infected while developing an antivirus. Gate was infected by ZERO's Virus ridden DNA, not Sigma's, and Lumine was never "infected" at all, he became Sigma through Sigma's DNA in his Copy chip. Also, Axl is fine by Command mission, so whatever happened-

@FlameG102 Beating the game on the hardest difficulty, delivering the final blow with Axl showed a special ending with him acting odd, and then you unlocked the white and purple Axl.(exact same color scheme as Lumine, can't be coincidence) Not to mention knowing how the X series works, it's very probable considering everytime an ultra powerful bad guy gets beaten, he infects his conquerer with some evil virus. Zero, Sigma, Doppler, Gate, Lumine, and now Axl.

@Arc13 Yeah, in my opinion, if they make an X9, it should end the series, AND EXPLAIN ALL THOSE CLIFFHANGERS

@SuperSketch008 I could be wrong but I think when I originally said that I had read some interview from Keiji Inafune saying that he was considering making it the last in the classic series. I know I had a reason for it, just hard to remember. But I definitely still stand by the belief of a Mega Man X9.
