  • Thats right, mine is blue too :)

I never managed to reach the redline in 6th gear, maybe a long slope and some tailwind could help.

The flapping thing is attached to the camera which I found annoying too and took it off for later videos. But I love my suzuki keyring, It makes it easy to find the key in my bag :) and im not staring it whilst ridding. So many houses, so many customs mate.

  • yes, something like that. on paper it is 3.7s i think.

  • ALSO! It has one of the cheapest insurance! Im paying £120/year. For a 600 gsxr or cbr insurance quote was double for me! Im thinking to change to an aprilia rsv 1000 mille but sv1000 is an other option too. V-twin forever! :)))))))))))))))

  • It`s a 99reg with under 40 000 miles. It was rebuilt about 3000 miles ago. It was rebuilt by someone else as well god knows when. It does around 120 miles with a full tank (15 liters) but im not the most eco rider. It is very light (170kg) compare to inline4s and the ride high is quite low too. Im 186cm and easily can put my feet down. Unfortunately it doesn`t like high revs for too long and wheeles are more difficult too (for me), but a lot slimmer, easier to ride between cars than inline 4s.

  • yes, apperantly the mini twins can`t take high rpm for long time. don know why but burns oil, alot :(

You can feel towards red, that there is no point to rew it any higher than 9500rpm. I think...

  • the engine got rebuilt 2000 miles ago, coz the oil pump seal gave up, and the engine/pistons didn`t get enough lubrication at high rev. so that time it was using way too much oil. since she got rebuilt I added about 0.1-0.2L oil on for that 2000 miles, but didn`t do topspeed ridding as you would do with a "new" engine. Tomorrow will be the day of changing oil and filters, I will take it for a ride and let you know...

  • Red lotus elise at 1:00, nice :)

  • I have an ' 01 650sy a blue one which everyone knows are the fastest. It shows 140 on the clock at the redline in top. This is a great vid but whatever it is that you have flapping about in the cockpit would piss me right off. I find the ring on the ignition key annoying. I don't know how/why you put up with that.

  • @MrRolcsibacsi whats the 0-60 on the bike 4 sec?

  • Good video of of the bike, It seems to run just fine. What's the year of your bike, and how many miles does the bike have on it now. I read that you rebuilt the motor, How many miles when the motor was rebuilt. I have another ? what the MPG per gallon of fuel, Or tank full. Thinking of buying a SV650 or the SV1000. So any info is helpful, I have yet to ride a SV so I don't know how they handle. I did sit on a DL650 it was a little tall, and it's a heavy bike compered to the SV's. Thank's, yl

  • i cant wait to ride my bike de restricted
