To learn more about strength... visit my other channel- Jesus Lifters. To increase velocity on your fastball, do this 4 times a week. Or every other day. Keep your landing foot planted, while throwing the medicine ball into the ground. Keep your core tight, and use your body to throw the ball. Do 3 sets of 10 reps every other day.

  • 9 yr old from California was just rated #1 9 yr old in the country. Awesome mechanics and velocity. A must see search ( Justis Daily ). Thought I would share with you guys. I saw this kid at Big League Dreams when he was 8 and was unbelievable!

  • i'll give it to you. you don't mention core strength, for which this looks like it might do some good

  • @kingcoach13 this exercise will strengthen the shoulders and muscles surrounding the rotator cuffs therefore may or may not increase velocity. one exercise will not but it will help when put with others

  • BAD.just because you say it doesn't prove your FB gets faster.there are much better exercises that will build core strength.using weights is good,but when do you ever throw the ball straight into the ground?do exercises that flex your core..your FB speed is what it is.to make it faster takes supreme effort.best to learn to push your leg off the rubber hard as you can in order to get your body in motion faster to the plate might add 2-3 extra mph.other than that,you're as fast as you can be.
