  • Fake Christian...you make it harder for those of us who really believe in God. Thanks for being judgmental towards others and forcing your opinions on a country that is obviously smart enough to see through you. Burn in hell, you heretic.

  • Fred Nile and your NON-TRUE AUSSIE band of geek followers, join 'Fred Phelps Sermon' from the Westboro Baptist Church. Wow.. 2x the Freds, both blind, dumb and need a good spanking + both in their 80's.

  • oh, fair enough :)

  • You missunderstand me the comment was directed at robomac, do not steal, love on another etc are all included in the Koran.

  • i do know that, and if an islamic cleric was a member of parliament trying to push those koranic ideas as national law, i would be equally angered

  • Many of those are also found in the Koran you know.

  • once again, i did not accuse all christian principles of being archaic. those are common moral ideas that exist OUTSIDE of christianity. but issues like homosexuality are based on specific parts of the bible, and it is taking parts of the bible literally that i have a problem with.

  • absolutely not. members of parliament are free to hold religious views. but when the policy they make is based on religious ideals and dogmatic beleif, they should not be made into national law, because as i said below, those religious ideas do not apply to everyone. national law should be a moral consensus

  • how can you say the principles of Christianity are archaic, all of them???? Love others, get along with others, obey the laws, do not murder, do not steal which of these do you have difficulty with???

  • i do admit, i used a generalisation there. not all his policies are low calibre. and i didnt know that about him voting against pay rises. i was referring to policy based on christian dogma and specific parts of the bible, which truly have no place in national law, as not all people are christians. christians morals are not universal, and as such should not be national law.
