  • @americanpatriot00 actually Roy was never the same after coming back down from heavyweight, it wasn't Tarver. Not to take anything away from Tarver, but Roy had to lose 26 lbs of muscle just to make weight. Roy was physically drained and was at a huge disadvantage before even fighting Tarver.

  • @jabjabmove You talking like a ignorant moron. By the time Jones fought Calzghe, he had suffered 2 BAD knockouts. Not decision but CONCUSSIVE KNOCKOUTS! Them sort of knockouts can kill a person in the ring. When he fought Calzaghe he wasn't fighting to prove anything but, rather, try to re-ignite the old flame. That is the problem for many fighters... they don't know when to quit. Jones should have quit after the Johnson fight.

  • @sameer594 More like the super "knocked out" man of boxing. He just gets ready to get KNOCKED OUT!

  • ya'll dont understand lol. roy already explained why he's not the same. he's older, and the fact that losing 25 pounds of muscle has a big effect on ur body. you lose energy and speed because the energy aint there any more. plus he's already an accomplished boxer. wht more does he have to prove to his fans.

    he fights for him now.

  • @jabjabmove - You make sense, but you are responding to my brother's comment. Don't get me wrong. I like boxing to.

  • I think Roy was lucky to get as far as he did in boxing. He never really had a good defense. He was just a marginally fast offensive fighter, but it seemed like Antonio Tarver's bravado and win took Roy's fighting spirit away. Roy was never ever the same after losing to Tarver.

    .

Roy Jones jr. just like Mike Tyson, reminds me of Humpty Dumpty. It's like once he fell that was the beginning of the end. All the kings horses and all the king's men couldn't put Humpty back together again.

  • calzaghe=chris byrd with an accent

  • @997sasa

  • @voodoo9606 yeah your right but being white had nothing to do about it
