perfection. deeply poignant memories for me, too. this was my childhood. i hear this and remember having that LP playing and just marveling at her voice and phrasing. it still blows me away. it's so wonderful. there is something special about this album. i still just think it's in my top 5 alltime. her voice is sublime!

While I think her politics are whacky, there is no denying the power and beauty of her voice. One of the best ever, and this song is just awesome.
