  • Just to ask.

Can any doctor help me with this situation? I saw the article about the Association of SCIT and Autoimmune disease, AAAI says that "Thus, development of autoimmune disease should probably not be viewed as a side-effect of AIT" and the rest of the probability?

Can an a Allergist give me the opinion?

I develop Polychondritis during the use of SCIT.

    Thanks

    Carlos

  • Dont get Subcutaneous Allergen Specific Immunotherapy.SCIT contain aluminum hydroxide as adjunvant, they can disturb the balance of the T regulatory cells (T cells make the immune tolerance, when the tolerance brookes an autoimmune disease can appear ) the immune changes that they can make in SCIT are not complete understood, they made a turn in the way that the immune sistem works, I develop Polychondritis during the use of SCIT years . All of this can be trigger of autoimmune disease.
