I Am Bruce Lee Trailer

Coming to theaters this February is the new documentary I Am Bruce Lee. Featuring footage from the likes of The Big Boss, First of Fury, Way of the Dragon, Enter the Dragon and The Game of Death, the film delves into the life of Bruce Lee and his current legacy in both martial arts and entertainment. The piece also contains interviews with those who knew him most intimately, as well as a range of people from international boxing sensation Manny Pacquiao and Lakers star Kobe Bryant, to UFC's Dana White and current Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones. The video catches up with each celebrity as they address the impact of the martial arts superstar and cultural icon on their own lives and psyche. I Am Bruce Lee opens February 9 through select theaters.

this documentary is a waste of time. director or whoever produced it is STUPID. wasted his time and movie and made a fool of himself. just like any other idiot documentary white boy, no wisdom or depth or insight or developing story or theme. it was actually pretty bad, like a circus show documentary. only thing is that it made lee seem like an ordinary dude who is famous. just saw it today in sacramento and boring as hell and i am a extreme hardcore bruce lee fan.

@PrettyBoyOfDuluth Dragon was a Biopic not a documentary. I agree they took too many liberties with that movie. But I loved it. Dragon should really be considered to be inspired by a true story. I recommend it but it wasn't Bruce Lee's life. I have it on DVD and the director admits taking alot of liberties to make it into a decent action flick. It's Hollywood afterall. What they tried to do was dramatize Bruce's life and add a little mysticism. They did that well.

I sure hope this documentary is better than Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story.  That movie took way too many liberties on the actual events. For instance, Bruce Lee hurt his back from lifting weights and not from a kung-fu master attacking him with a flying side kick.
