ok, that wasnt a dive, but it was a penalty. you can make that play as a defenseman as long as you dont touch the shooters skate. cmon pens fans, watch it again... he swiped clear through Richards' left skate. of Richards, being the man, didnt dive even though at that point he knew he didnt have the angle he actually dropped the puck while lifting his skate so to not fall. would your little crosby do that? no. hed fall and hurt himself sliding to the boards. oh yeah, he actually did that once!

and dont ask me why those fans were holdin up score cards. gonchar made the right move, no dive, Richards probably wouldve scored. can you remember if that was called though?

No I don't think it was called at all. I edited in the fans holding the cards up. They did that for Syd earlier in the game. hahaha. It's a goof.  May the best team win Sunday. Let's go HOCKEY!!

That was a brilliant defensive play. Hands down play of the game to keep the lead. Cryers fans are just too dumb to realize that. Ahh well, if you can't play hockey at least squeal like a pig about calls and refs and stuff.

Pens are about to sweep aside the road kill that is the Flyer team. Penguins express is going non-stop to the Stanley Cup Finals!

@LetsGoFlyers2009 think you are a little confused on the rules. As long as the defender hits the puck first it doesn't matter if he ends up taking out the guys feet.

thats what i was saying guy....Richards DIDNT fall. if he had, it definately wouldve been called. but like a real hockey player should, he tried to hold his ground, lift his skate over gonchars stick, and make the play. either way, gonchar made the right play, just not quite as clean as you say....buddy.... and as far as knowing the rules, i used to, but they seem to change by the game. if i was Ricjards, i wouldve took fleurys head off
