A French Muslim woman has been fined for wearing a full-face veil while driving a car. Police in Nantes accused her of taking to the wheel with restricted vision.Duration: 01:15
This is not true, you cannot see as well wearing a headscarf, I have been cut up several times, by women dressed in this fashion. They should not drive like this, they do not in Saudi Arabia
@unitedcoloursofAfg Yes change things. Pleanty of people have started big changes like Rosa parks and Martin luther king stopping segregation, Likewise Nelson Mandella in South Africa, you have Ghandi who got the brits out of India, Joan of Arc who in teens led the French to kick out English Oppressors, who now have gay rights and marriage, an end to slavoury, votes for women, etc
@missmillionmaker My goodness me change Islam?! Are you for real! I am just one grain of sand in the desert of Islam. That being said, I stick to my opinion because to ME that is what feels right. There is no universalness to Islam. Yes there are aspects of Islam that are universal to all of us that call ourselves Muslim, but things like what you wear or how long your beard has to be for men are not universal and are not indicators of Islam, period.
LOL, I know right life's too short, you should make the best of your looks. But, I would argue within certain boudaries. I mean you just want to come across in society as someone who is confident and intelligent.
The main thing here is the separation of culture and religion. what you wear is a part of culture (the environment you live in, which has nothing to do with religion) I mean you can wear a decent Dolce and Gabbana top, skinny jeans and Christian Louboutin heels walk out the door and still be a devout muslim. No one should look at you and know automatically that you are a muslim, without actually talking to you and getting to know you better.
Modesty is like a smart person acting dumb, like a sporty fit cool persoan acting like a nurdy wuss,
You should be pround and confident in yourself and for girls more in their sexaulity, but not to the point of bitchy bully arrogance (think certian celebrities ie Niaomi Cambel).
There is also the common sense of dont try and do too much too young before you are able to handle it, basics first.
You should make the most of your looks whilst their last
@unitedcoloursofAfg Aggree. All of the abramanic relgions are deranged girl and gay bashying psychols with a history of child, gays, girl, witch bashing following psychotic scitzophrenics, peados and sexists.
Hence whilst not relgious Id only support the attiudes, culture and values of wicca and buddisim.
However many jews and christians dont follow it as fanatically as in the past whilst islam is like the inquistion still as fantically deranged as always.
@ComboTheCat While I think its unfair to judge my religion and jump to conclusions based on this video (as it is a very incomplete assesment of my religion) I agree with what you have to say about the Niqaab ironically not being able to 'protect' a woman from the leering eyes of a man, i think its absolutely absurd because why should the woman be the agent of change, when clearly the 'problem' is the man's gaze?!
