I live in San Diego.It has just been a year since my two day trip to Vegas....And already I wished I hadn't gone. Spinal surgery, and growth removal is a bitch! Pardon my language. But trying to make people understand is probably far worse than dealing with the disease. I'm 22 and no one sees me as disabled. I don't either but as for right now I guess I am. It takes time to recover...That is if you recover...I feel bad when I can't help the old lady who dropped something pick it up.

I live in Ventura, Ca and found out yesterday that I have VF. Cat Scan revealed a golf ball size mass in my lung. On Flucanozole. Also doing Natren Healthy Trinity, a probiotic, $59 for 30 at Lassens, "the good bacterias". One day at a time.

I have disseminated VF. I can't take any drugs due to my liver. the only way I'm keeping it from killing me is by taking natural antifungal pills (i.e. allicin, pharma. grade garlic extract, $20/bottle)& staying on strict diet control. no starch, carbs (well, extremely low-carb organic vegs only), & only lean proteins because my digestion is bad & I can't handle fats. VF can really ruin your digestion, & your life. avoiding foods with naturally high potential for mold is also very important.

Maybe ppl will open there eyes.... life is to short...life changes at an instant...to those that mock what goes around comes around. This has helped my brother open his eyes we are not from az. . We just moved here.

@phsjr You don't know this nice lady, but are judging her very motives and criticizing the heck out of her.  My mother has Valley Fever, so I know a lot about it and what this lady is saying absolutely rings true. My mother has suffered greatly from this disease, so I have some appreciation of what this lady is going through. It's nothing akin to self-victimization.
