My good camera is in the car, and the car is at my mom's work, so I had to use this lower quality camera, sorry. This is a very nice cassette tape recorder that is AC bias, but has a unfortunate case of DC erase, so the recordings have some background noise, not as much as DC bias, but more than AC erase. This recorder is packed with features and is very versatile.

  • @Felix2417425 While the bias on the record head is AC, they run DC through the erase head (electromagnet). It is very common on many lower-end AC bias recorders.

  • Nice recorder! How you mean that it has DC erase?? Does it use permanent magnet erase head?
