Right Then Crafting In Final Fantasy XIV

Ok finally I get to the topic I was going to get to yesterday, which is the nifty keen crafting system in FFXIV. You must craft, but it's ok, because you look so cool doing it. The reasons you must craft are: 1) you need the gear; 2) you get massive experience; 3) the gear wear mechanic is a piece of crap and you want to be prepared.

Oh, sorry, nevermind i paused the video and didnt hear what you said about the repairman not being able to repair all of your gear for you. My bad, i'm sorry *Blushes*

@nicolajulianna Yeah, they don't repair gear for every slot, and they only repair it up to 75%. I expect the new development team to tweak that a little in future version updates, however, because it is pretty frustrating. Now that I've gotten World of Warcraft's Cataclysm cravings largely taken care of, I am looking forward to spending more time strolling around in FFXIV's gorgeous settings again.

I just got Final Fantasy XIV for Christmas, and i'm still running around trying to figure out how to actually make something in this game. I've managed to figure out how to equip your tools or what have you, but the part about sitting down and crafting something is beyond me.

However, while on my journey, i came across a repairman. Does he not repair your armor for you? If you go to the West Hawker's Alley, he will be standing there waiting for your lovely equipment :)
