KEEL - "The Right To Rock" M3 Festival Columbia, MD. May 30th, 2009 Festival Stage

KEEL played the Festival Stage and I thought I'd check them out before RATT took over the main stage. I remember when I was a young teenager, I tried to get into a club called the Bayou in Washington, DC to see KEEL and ROUGH CUTT and the gig was 21 and over. The guys at the door wouldn't let me in because I was under age and I sat out back behind the club and listened to both bands that night. I still remember how loud that gig was today! Anyway, the M3 Festival had some pretty cool bands there. Overall, Y&T and TWISTED SISTER kicked major ass, but for the Festival Stage KEEL rocked it! Oh yeah, before you all ask, I did get a ton of footage from this event, you'll just have to wait until I pull some more of it off the HD cam! Keep rockin' metal heads!

I was using a sony cyber shot T90. The camera actually just came out in april 2009. My daughter was looking for something small she could film with that produced high quality video and we went with the sony. I've got my eye on the new panasonic though. This video is the actual MPEG4 file from the sony camera uploaded direct to youtube.

Ron is from Mt. Pleasant texas he went to high school there. He used to ride on the bus to school always wanting you to listen to his new song he recorded at the house!!!

i was there...I love Keel, but they had major technical problems...Brian Jay's guitar was not turned up for over half the show and then Marc Ferrari's suffered the same feat...but they looked and sounded good otherwise. Kix stole the show with the 4:30 slot in the main stage.
