In january there was a small winter storm that had passed through the north west, dumping about 18 inches of snow from Bellingham to Arlington. After the storm had passed I went out to the Skagit river trussle just past the Burlington yard and managed to catch a mixed consist being hauled south on the Bellingham sub by BNSF 2738 (GP39-2), 2827 (GP39M), and 2651 (GP39-3).
About 5 minutes later 2 BNSF engines move South 2924 (GP39E), and 2100 (GP38-2) on the Bellingham main.
Sorry about the camera. it fell through the snow a couple times.
Nice!! I liked the 2nd gen power on such a long train. Good job.
