L.A. Noire is an upcoming video game in development by Team Bondi and to be published by Rockstar Games for the PlayStation 3. L.A. Noire is set in "a perfectly re-created Los Angeles" of the late 1940s, with players being given an open-ended challenge to solve a series of murders. The postwar setting will include the noir necessity of corruption, as well as drugs and jazz themes. The game uses a distinctive noire colouring-style to strengthen the feeling from detective movies of the '40s.

@EricGordonRasmussen If GTA 5 is going to be anything like GTA 4, than I'd rather just play L.A. Noire. No, fuck it. GTA 5 could be made from ssssss... *BITE* Goldust, and dispense milk and cookies at each loading screen and I would still just rather play L.A. Noire.
