Hey everyone! After meeting at CES 2010, i flew to NY to visit Jerry at the Ectaco Corporate Center where he did a demo for the new English Russian ER900 Electronic Dictionary. With speech recognition, text translation and programs that will actually teach you the language step by step it was a very cool device. Enjoy!

i have the exact same device but how come on my home screen on the first page, i am missing the "text translation" icon?

You can type your words in the dictionary section and your phrases in text translation section.

Okay, Jerry, so please verify: Ia a keyboard available forthe Spanish "N", Chinese or Spanish, French, German "Umlatt", etc? Thanks! Juli ;)

@akro2001 Can you tell me if you can type in a word or phrase and can it translate from that? Or is it only the pre-made words and phrases that you can find translations for?

I have this dictionary and I like it very much!!! It works perfect with many languages and I always keep it with me during my travel. Thank you for such a great product !

@arthurfomin I checked it out and the battery usually lasts about 6 hours after a full charge.
