Zermatt, Switzerland...The Matterhorn...! This is where you get the 'Big Picture' about skiing. From a vertical drop of 7,218 ft to the sheer number of lifts (with heated seats), trams, trains and gondolas to the efficient ski bus transportation in the village, to the highest tram at 12,792 ft. this is where its at. You can ski over to Italy to Cervinia for lunch. The runs here are measured in miles, the longest at 12 miles. In the village only small electric taxi and commercial vehicles are allowed. No private vehicles. As the video shows, we had a grand time with our friends the Fraims and conditions were excellent. See more video and photos at WWW.SOLYMOSSY.COM.

Nice, but never had any desire to go skiing, and at 55 I'm far far to old to take it up even if I wanted to or could afford to go.
