NIGELLA LAWSON/NIGELLA'S CHRISTMAS KITCHEN
Food, Family, Friends, Festivities Food to Celebrate Life The Pleasures and Principles of Good Food
Dealing with large numbers of hungry people, all capable of defying the laws of nature by being perpetually hungry, is a Christmas challenge. Entertaining in the run-up to Christmas can be anything from a coping with large groups of unannounced visitors to the pre-planned dinner parties that seem to crop up with undiminished enthusiasm in the weeks leading up to Christmas.

Although the very idea of canapés seem to resonate 1970s they are always fallen upon with gratitude and there are some simple guides to getting them right. Salty combinations of prosciutto ham, creamy goats' cheese and figgy wraps are quick and simple to assemble, as are Nigella's Sweet and sticky ribs and irresistible Crabcakes. Saving the day is Nigella's hangover cure, a Cuban chorizo and black bean soup

  • I love Christmas lights! Can't have enough of them in my house at the holidays.

I tried whacking a half of a pomegranate like she did to get the fruit out but I ended up with a ruined apron and red spots all over my countertop. It dies get the seeds out though.

  • i'm looking for the next part, where the turkey roast gets finished. Does anyone know where is that?

  • I'd like to be invited.

  • I have always loved cooking, especially after having children..my own little fairy princess loves to help Mommy bake and cook..And every time we watch Nigella cooking up ANYTHING we both are inspired even more so to get in the kitchen an whip up our own little delicacies in our kitchen..We love you Nigella!

  • blah blah blah we didn't come here for a lecture from Antonio Gramsci

  • @simonbath

Some of us like intelligent feminine women. Her figure is gorgeous. Why be so po-faced about her anyway?

  • @simonbath

    Care to explain?

Not trying a flame war or anything. Just interested in the opinion you present.

  • Oh man, we just throw some green and red M&Ms in a silver bowl and call it a day over here.
