546 Gyimesbükk Couple Dance. Kettős jártatója és sírülője

This recording was made in 2007 in Gyimesbükk [Ghimes-Faget, Romania].

Violinist: Mihály Mézes Mihók. Gardon: Demeter Tankó. Dancers: local residents of Gyimesbükk.

In the first half of the dance the pairs, with a slow forward movement, step forwards and backwards, progressing in a circle, the men leading the women forward and back, as they call to each other.

The dance calls: In eighteen hundred and forty eight, I was invited to the dance. Now I dance here all the time.
And so I came, nice and quiet. Let me in my pretty darling."
Anyone who can't dance well, break their arms and go to hell"

In the faster part, the couples begin to spin, or move backwards and forwards on the spot, in pairs; but the slow circular progress is maintained.

Hegedül: Mihók (Buhai) Mihály "Mézes", gardonozik Tankó Demeter. Táncolnak: gyimesbükki táncosok.

A tánc első felében (jártató) a párok körben, lassú előrehaladó mozgással előre-hátra lépnek, a férfi vezeti a nőt és kifordítja, közben "rikójtoznak"

A táncszók: "Ezernyolcszáznegyvennyolcba elhívtak volt guzsalyasba, De én akkor megörvendtem, guzsalyasba járó lettem"
"El is mentem szép csendesen, Eresszél be szép kedvesem"
"Ki a kettőst jól nem járja, törjék el a keze lába"

A gyorsabb résznél a párok forogni kezdenek ("sírülő" , forgó rész), ill. párosan helyben előre hátra mozognak, de azért a lassú köríven előre haladó mozgás is megmarad.
